- A redesigned exterior with a bolder grille, a more planted stance, and new signature LED headlamps and taillamps.
- Two all-new V8 engines: a 5.7L V8 and a 6.6L V8.
- A 16.3-inch center screen and a 12.2-inch driver information center, with a new user interface, native Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Google built-in with Gemini in select configurations.
- An available Multi-Flex Center Console and available dynamic ambient lighting.
- Up to 11 cameras and 19 camera views, plus 7 available drive modes.

Maximum ratings depend on engine, configuration, and equipment. Chevrolet states a minimum towing rating of 7,200 lbs across the lineup. Always confirm the rating for the exact truck you plan to buy. Not every engine is offered on every trim.
Which 2027 Silverado 1500 Fits How You Use a Truck
For work and daily use: The WT, Custom, and Custom Trail Boss are the work-focused and value-focused end of the lineup. The WT comes with the TurboMax engine as standard, with the Duramax diesel available.
For comfort and technology: The Silverado (LT/Z71) trim adds more features, and the panoramic sunroof is available. The High Country is the premium truck, with a standard panoramic sunroof, 22-inch wheels, premium suspension with semi-active damping, an 11.5-inch passenger screen, and a power up/down tailgate.
For off-road driving: The Trail Boss adds off-road equipment, and the ZR2 is the most capable off-road version, with a 2-inch factory lift, Multimatic DSSV dampers, and 35-inch tires. Chevrolet also lists Super Cruise with trailering as available on High Country and ZR2.
