Shopping Used Cars Under $5,000
At this price point, most shoppers want dependable everyday transportation without a large payment. The selection changes as vehicles sell and new ones arrive, so the makes and models you see can vary from week to week. Condition, mileage and model year differ from one vehicle to the next, so open each listing to review the photos, details and any available vehicle history report before you visit.
Plan for the full cost of ownership, not just the listed price. Taxes, title and registration, insurance and routine maintenance all add to the total, and an older vehicle may need service sooner. Ask the Dial Chevrolet team about a test drive and about any questions on a specific vehicle before you decide.
If you have a vehicle to trade, you can request a trade value online. If you would rather set a budget first, you can start a financing pre-approval. Approval is not guaranteed and depends on credit and lender review.
