Why shoppers consider a used Trax

• Easy to park and maneuver. A subcompact footprint is a plus on crowded city streets and in tight garages.
• Cargo flexibility. The rear seats fold to open up more room for gear, groceries or luggage than a typical sedan trunk.
• Driver-assist technology. Recent model years of the Trax include Chevy Safety Assist features. Confirm the equipment on each vehicle you view.
• A practical step up from a small car. It suits commuters, first-time SUV buyers and downsizers.

What to check on a used Trax

• Trim and equipment. Compare trims such as LT and RS on each listing rather than assuming features.
• Model year. Equipment and design differ between model years, so read each listing's details.
• History report and service records. Ask to see both before you decide.
• Test drive on familiar roads. Drive it on the streets and highways you use most.
